Attractions and Entertainment Monetization

Attractions and entertainment Wi-Fi monetization

Museums, attractions, arenas and entertainment venues bring together visitors before, during and between experiences. IDCTS evaluates compatible Wi-Fi in queues, concourses, seating and shared areas for eligible carrier-funded offload, accounting for event peaks and venue operations.

What we review for attractions and entertainment

An initial venue-fit review considers these requirements; no site is automatically eligible:

Attractions, museums, arenas and entertainment venues with authorized visitor Wi-Fi

Visitor coverage across queues, seating, concourses and shared spaces

Compatible equipment and backhaul capacity for peak attendance and operational separation

Transparent Terms

Under the current IDCTS program, qualifying venues receive a 50% share of eligible attributed offload revenue, subject to program terms and carrier approval, with no monetization program fees. Existing equipment may be usable after review; compatibility and earnings are not guaranteed. Optional managed Wi-Fi work is separate.

Plan for visitor dwell and event peaks

Queues, concourses and seating create different opportunities for eligible subscriber traffic. Review ordinary operating days and peak events rather than relying on attendance alone.

Visitor coverage

Assess Wi-Fi in queues, exhibits, seating and shared areas, including indoor and outdoor equipment where authorized.

Event operations

Check peak backhaul capacity and network separation from ticketing, payment and production systems before configuration.

Attractions and Entertainment questions

Which attractions can request a review?

Museums, visitor attractions, arenas and entertainment venues with authorized Wi-Fi can request an initial fit assessment.

Does high attendance guarantee revenue?

No. Eligible attributed traffic depends on supported subscribers, usable coverage, network capacity and carrier approval.

Can indoor and outdoor areas be included?

Yes, subject to review. Add separate equipment groups for different AP vendors or indoor and outdoor placement in the assessment.

Complimentary Venue Assessment

Could your existing Wi-Fi qualify for carrier-funded revenue? We’ll review your location, network details, and usage potential—at no cost.

Request an assessment for one venue or multiple locations. This is an initial fit review, not a security audit, carrier approval, or earnings guarantee.

Add one row per site and equipment group. Split mixed AP vendors or indoor/outdoor placement into separate rows. You can submit partial details for initial review.
